Project Description
JDA is one of the leading Supply Chain Software companies in the world. I was the single point of contact for the UX of Next-Gen Unified Assortment and Assortment Mobility. I worked with teams ranging from Warehouse Mngt. to Shelf Planning and also with the global UX Team in designing the UX guidelines for 130+ JDA apps to be migrated to a single Web UI.
My Contribution
At JDA, I have been involved in the following:
- Single point of contact for the user experience of Next-Gen Retail Unified Assortment product. Worked closely with Functional and Product Management teams on business requirements, conceptualizing features, wire-framing, end-to-end design of modules like:
- Planner Dashboard
- Assortment Definition
- Goals, Initiatives & Tactic
- Width & Depth Analysis
- Historical Analysis
- Item Visualizer in Pivot
- Scorecards
- Redesigned and Migrated the NextGen UI from SCPO style to DCS Style.
- Responsible for the UX of MDAP, and designed the Commenting and Graphing functionalities for the new Pivot UI. I worked with 5 different cross-location teams in various supply chain domains ranging from Warehouse Management to Collaborative Shelf Planning.
- Being the first batch of UX Designers in India at JDA, had the responsibility to increase awareness of UX amongst various product teams. Travelled to US in this process, for a UX Shadowing program and replicated the practices such as Agile UX, Design studios and Reviews, used by our US counterparts in India.
- Worked with the global UX Team and contributed towards designing the persona based UX guidelines for 130+ JDA applications to be migrated to a Unified Web UI called DCS UI.
- Worked on improving the UX of excel based JDA Assortment UI.
- Worked with the Mobility team on the design of iOS application for Assortment Planning, an extended application for buyers to create assortments on the go.
- As part of WMS team, worked on modules like Inventory allocation, Shipping, Pack Station, etc.
